My friend has a dodge dakota and the engine light is on i pull the codes for him and got a PO456 code.



Does anyone know what it means? not sure if all dodge codes are the same and hoping they are.

That code has to do with the emission control system, specifically the evaporative canister, I think this code can be set by just leaving the fuel cap loose. If there is not a problem, the light should reset after three start/run cycles. bg
