Trying to Locate P/N 4428549 VSS adapter

I am trying to locate this adapter (P/N 4428549) to fit in between the VSS and the trans. on my truck. I ordered one from the dealer, and they just told me today that they are now out of stock and on backorder with no est. delivery date. Do any of you know where I can get this part? I have a 3. 54 rear end with the stock 16" size tires on it. Getrag of course. 2wd.

Try Chrysler Parts Direct at 1-888-528-2200 ask for their internet people. They have found me parts that were no longer being made - according to my local Dodge parts people.

BTW, if you find the part would you post about the part/description/part number and source in the "discontinued hard to find" forum for other members to access... that would make it a bit easier for the next guy who runs into this. .
