Anyone know what TSB 08-20-14 Amplifier module inspect and reprogram is supposed to fix? This is one of the TSB's done on my truck the last time I was at the dealer.
I posted the other day about static on anything in my truck that uses the speakers. AM, FM, Satellite, Navigation voice and CD music. I spent a lot of time looking at my service manual and the only common thing is the Amplifier that drives the 9 speakers. I never had this problem before the TSB flash. My first thought was a poor ground but the speakers have a floating ground and they caution not to ground them.
I'm out of town on a camping trip and can't take it in for a week or so. The other problem is it's intermittent. It will work good for an hour or so and then get worse and worse. If you don't get disgusted and mute the audio it slowly gets better. I know with my luck it will work fine when I take it in.
Any help or ideas will be appreciated. I have a service manual but no access to TSB's to see if this TSB is even related to my problem.
