Does anyone have bottom line re: what engine/fuel management parameters are adjusted with this reflash? Better yet, how about dyno results pre- and post- reflash. I think Sarge discussed this, but I didn't find any posts with this information. Previous threads have claimed both increases and decreases in power. Who's got the correct answer?

Other than a before and after dyno test, we will never know what they did with the TSB. Dodge/Cummins is not going to say any more than they already have about what the change involves. Any "seat of the pants" results from before and after the TSB are likely to be whatever one's pre-conceived expectations are. All I know for sure is that my milage went up after the TSB and it's running great.

I am wondering if my '05 is a canidate for this tsb? When we first brought it home it was getting 17-18 mpg easy. I took it on a long trip (3000miles) and one time I had a bunch of white smoke right after a warm start-up. It went away after 2 miles and hasn't returned since. My milage now though is more like 14-15mpg on the same roads, same conditions. I'd gladly give up a few ponies to get the mpg back.

My guess is that the chances are you had a completely FULL tank on the first mileage check and from then on, you havent waited 20 min to fill the slower than snot last 5 gallons to your truck. Check the earlier threads for a fix to the fill up problem. There is a kit available to quick complete fill ups. Enjoy the new ride.

Did the flash lower your EGT #'s?

My auto meter pyrometer is now reading about 80 degrees lower, I don’t know if it failed, of if the flash lowered my EGT. Now I read about 210-220 degrees at idle, which seems way low..... maybe the thermocouple is bad..... Or maybe the flash lowered exhaust temperatures... anybody else with similar numbers???
