Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Tsb 19-007-01

Anybody know anything about this TSB?



Autozone showed it on my 2002, something about power steering fluid requirements have changed.



I checked Fritz site but did not see it there.

2000-2002 now use ATF+4 for the power steering. However it excludes BR truck.

Please repeat that again. Im suppose to use ATF+4 in my power steering pump now? Is that correct? Where can i see this in writing?

It does not apply to second generation Ram. The new DR's (02 1500, and all 03's) use ATF+4

No problem, first hint of discoloration, mine gets turned into synethic anyway. IN my 98 it made such a difference switching to synethic in the PS System, I may to the 2002 now before the damage is done.
