I carried my 2008 3500 (6 spd. auto) in for a hard down shift to 1st gear when coming to a stop. I also had the 1400-1450 RPM shift in/out "jerk".

The dealer applied TSB 21-019-07 and, for the first 50 miles, it appears those two issues have been resolved.

Truck has 6,750 miles on it. That has been the only issue so far and it was really more of an annoyance than anything else.

Is your CTD a C&C or reg. pickup? The Aisin trans is only in the C&C but your sig. seems to show a reg pickup. The 68RFE is the reg. pickup auto trans and is a lot different than the Aisin.

I complained to the dealer about the 1400-1450 RPM “jerk”. They said that there was a TSB (I forgot to get the number) addressing the issue. At first, the issue was “corrected”. Then I started to experience the “jerk” at random rpm's. Now it is back to the 1400-1450 RPM range.
