TSB Question

I am in need of the power steering hose TSb. I read the TSb and is says "Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty. " does that mean at 38K I have to pay to have this done?

The TSB is to fix a vibration so the dealer may ask why you have driven with that vib for 38K? You may have to pay but if you have a sympathetic Dealer they may do it and list the mileage at 36K so they can get there money from DC.

Unfortunately a TSB is not a recall. Any published TBS's should be addressed before the warranty runs out.

The dealer won't fudge the mileage. Very illegal. BUT the service manager can auth. that TSB and won't get flac from D. C. I know of ones that got it at the 100k mark at N/C with no argument.
