TSB Question

Does anyone know the TSB number (or if there even is one) for the high idle adjustment?



My dealer does not seem to know what I'm talking about. Also, they tell me they can't do the daytime running lights in the US yet I know several people who have had it done.

My dealer turned on the running lights, but they couldn't figure out the high-idle.

There is no TSB for high idle. It is turned on in ECM other functions or customer preferences. Have not looked for a while so not sure which one as they keep moving things around with tool updates.

DRL is not legal in the states except for fleet. Don't know why as other manufacturers have them standard, but not legal is what we have always been told. Some vehicles are very easy to turn on, some are not.

Living in SoCal, the high idle was not enabled when I bought my truck. Luckily, I have a local dealer that has a really good service dept (Glenn Thomas Dodge in Long Beach), and they knew exactly what I was talking about whenI asked them if they could enable it.

Is your truck an auto? I've been to 2 different dealers and both said no go on standard trannys in 2010, 2009 they could do it.

I have an 2009 SLT 2x4- auto transmission.

I had high idle till the Stupid dealer claimed he had to change pcm now they say there tool won't turn it on ? W T H
