I have a 2004 that I purchased this summer. I called a dealer and gave him my vin and was told its under the 7/70. My question is do i call a dealer to find out what tsb's have been done and if it needs some done is it covered under my warrenty.
it all depends on what the tsb is. also if your truck is haveing the problem in the tsb. the problem there is if you dont have a good dealer then they will find a way to say that the tsb is not coverd. just to make a buck.
A TSB is a Technical Service Bulletin. It gives the mechanic instructions on how to deal with a specific issue. They apply whether DC is paying for it (warranty) or you are.
They are under no obligation to perform a TSB for free on something that is out of warranty. I wish they were, I appear to have a broken heater door. This issue has had a TSB out for a while. Of course, mine waited until the 3/36 was over to break.
