Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) TST #12 fuel plate in a 1996 CTD 4spd Auto

Question: could a TST #12 plate be used in a 96 CTD with an automatic trans? A friend has one and I would like to give him my old #12 plate for some work he is going to do on my TDI Jetta. Would it be a bad idea or would it work fine?

Yes but not well mine is a number 8 . it has 230 and 605

Yes it will work fine... ... ... . just slide it forward a wee bit to make a little more.
