TST 16 cm turbin housing help

OK the problem is I put a knew 16cm on my truck well in doing this I found the bearings where bad in my turbo so I had the turbo rebuilt (new bearing kit & turbine) I got it back today put it on and it sounds like I have a siren in my truck this is not a little wistling it is loud like a old police siren did they mess up my turbo or is it the exhaust housing help! :{

I never removed it but I got it used so who knows

It "sounds" like the turbo is bad. The clearances are wrong, probably too tight, between the compressor pinwheel and the housing, or the shaft is bent. Just my guess from many miles away. I can't really hear that well The housing TST sells is genuine Holset and it is very unlikely it is bad.

Thanks Joe I did not think it had anything to do with the housing but I thought I would check the blades spin freely just to turn it by hand. It was makeing the noise only when you started to build boost but now it does it a little when it revs up I guess I'll send the turbo back to the place that rebuilt it and see what they say
