TST alone

Geez I lent a friend my Smarty. On the way home I had to turn the TST all the way up... . 9/9 to get a little extra power from stock :-laf

I guess with the injectors and turbo it takes much higher settings on the TST compared to when it was stock. I will say the power is much more friendly with the upgrade turbo and injectors and TST alone.

With a stock CP3, any tq setting above 3 will tax it hard enough down low that it will not recover up top. When I was running the TST alone, I always left the tq setting on 2. I could make more power on a dyno running 5/2, 6/2 vs 4/4, 5/5, 6/6, if you catch my drift.



But that was my truck.

Been a while but yea I remember now all the way up on torque, dyno numbers went down.

It was all we had for a long time. I'll still never be without it. Try just a pressure box alone you'll appreciate the TST again.

I should set my Smarty back to stock again for a while



I liked my TST by itself, but the EGT's are a lot higher then with the Smarty

Oh don't get me wrong, I still like the TST. It complements the Smarty quite well. The difference though is pretty substantial without the Smarty stacked on it.
