TST automatically sets...

... any of your's ever do this? In this hot weather lately my box will turn up the TQ to level 8 or 9 all by itself, seems to do it when turned off. I occassionally will think, wow, it's running great, then look at the box and see TQ @ level 8 or 9, usually set at 2 . Wonder if this is not part of the erratic hot idle I've been getting lately, any ideas?

someone else had this problem once before. I am not sure what came of it, I do know they ended up sending the unit back to TST to be checked.

Yup mine has done it . LOL. Every once in a while I think damn what is up then I look and its on 6x8 .

That's interesting. Mine did that just the other day. It wasn't the torque that was turned up, tho, it was the power. Maybe I better check the torque setting. I wondered what was going on.

So, should we be concerned that something is up or consider it "normal"? Mine did not do this last summer IIRC. Have to wonder if its tied into my hot idle problem or not, I know I know, pull it off and see what happens, but I need it for a 500 mile container run Tuesday, will pull it off though toward end of week and see how it acts.

I talked to them at IRP today and they said to send them in and have them reprogramed if it is a problem.
