Has anyone ever installed JUST a boost elbow from tst? I did and got 5 more lbs boost. I intend to add an "ottomind" from BanksPower. Got any idea how this combo will work? Thanks.

DO you have a boost module? What year is your truck? Without the boost module the ecm should have detected an overboost and thrown a code (check engine light)!

tmarti,
My 12 valve is a '95/auto,and the only thing I have on it so far is a TST boost elbow. The engine may have a little more headroom because boost isn't being dumped, but it sure didn't make more power... you need more fuel to make more power.

I'm not into the Banks stuff, but I'm pretty sure the Ottomind is a 24 valve fueling electronic box... isn't it? It's not gonna work on a 12 valve. You'll need to install a fuel plate.

I installed a boost elbow after I pushed the plate full forward on my 97. Pulling 35lbs of boost now at WOT. Before I installed the elbow I could only run it up to about 20lbs.

TST can sell you a Power Kit which in your case means just a torque plate ( and installation instructions) because you already have the boost control. Then you will get enough fueling to use the boost increase. Moderate cost, very effective, excellent power increase.
