I just installed my box, first thing I noticed is it takes a few more cranks to start. Engine light is on and codes are up. I haven't drove it yet. Codes are P0335,p0336 Crankshaft position sensor

circuit and crankshaft position sensor circuit performance. I need advise as to what to do

I am driving to meet mark monday, and plan on seeing a "latest" version program of the powermax, I have had mine for about week and half, and I just tripped the 0336-crank... code last night, BUT truck still ran good, like always, this one is a tricky one

I'm a little farther then you Tommygun, but I will be in his area next month. I may just stop in. I did drive the truck and it seemed alright. I jumped on the interstate for a few miles and it seemed good there too. However I do alot of miles and my engine light is still on, not building to uch confidence for me. I have broken down on the road way to many times and it costs a bundle to tow me and my 40' trailer weighing in at 22,000 lbs. usually. I will call Mark on Monday and see what he says. The only difference I noticed between mine is that I am getting two codes up plus the engine light.

I've been running around town, engine light is still on but it seems to run ok other then it takes a little longer cranking to start and sounds like the timing is off when it starts, loud clattering for about 5 seconds.

After I removed the extra ground wire my check engine light went off a couple of engine starts later. I cleared codes and the light stayed off for a few days and then came back on. I found that if I almost stall the truck (manual trans) it causes the engine light to come back on but after 3-4 starts it goes away.

I only have one ground wire on mine. The engine light is still on and I tried to reset the codes by unhooking the ground termainal on both batteries but that didn't work. Any thoughts?

Yes mine does that as well and also if I get severe spring/driveline wrap up and release the radical engine rpm changes set of a code as well. I think the CR box does not update fast enough for the engine ECM. Other than that the truck runs like a raped pig. I did not put the boost elbow on but the EGT has been below 1100 even on level 6/6. The exhaust is 4"/5" so that may help as well as the AFE air filter.

The only thing I don't like about the gauges is that the EGT will hold if you let of the pedal and they will not update until you completely stop the truck or accelerate again. Other than that Good Job Mark:D
