I have a TST comp box with guages I was wondering what the best looking mounting spot you guys have came up with is right now I have it velcroed between the steering wheel and dash.

I have the box with EGT and Boost guages and I installed it in the little cubby hole to the right of the radio. It didn't take any modification to the Dash trim, but I did dremel the hell out of the little cubby and some of the under dash stuff. I then used the rubber piece from inside the cubby to fill the small gap after install. Just takes a little creativeness and looks real good in my honest opinion. I'll try and get a pic up for you.

I'd also like to see some install pics of the TST PM 3 with the remote gauge option. I'm now considering this route as to avoid pillar or dash mounted guages. Although the BD X-Monitor kind of has my attention also.

The PM3 won't work on your 95 1tuffram. It's for 24 valve trucks only (98. 5-2002). As for mounting the remote I simply opened the ashtray and have it sitting between the lip of the ashtray door and the dash. I don't use it for my gauges except to look down at it to get my EGT at the end of the dragstrip. I use my analog gauges on the a-pillar for my regular use. I got the remote so that I could set the EGT defuel point only.

There is a member out there that had one mounted in the right side A/C vent that looked almost factory I was hoping he would send a picture and instructions! How hard is to pop the dash cover off with out cracking it? Thanks ahead of time.

My harness is too short to go anywhere creative with it. Right now it is stuffed in the ashtray with foam and the FP gauge. There is a good post on here somewhere mounting one in the ashtray.

Keep forgeting to update my sig and add a 2002 ETH/DEE.

So can the TST remote be mounted in the ashtray similar to the pic of someones Comp install awhile back?? Think they need to do a little handy work with a dremel to get it to fit.

Sorry, reading and posting too fast.

I was thinking DD when I read TST. The DD box is the same as PE, so they mount the same.

Just remember--add fuel.

Mounting a TST BOX

I have a TST -P M-3 Comp installed in the cubby hole also. Remove the cubby hole and use the boxes dimensions ,centered or make the bottom of the box rest on the bottom of the C H , then with a hacksaw blade remove the portion of the CH ,so the box will "slip" into the slot that you have made, bring the slot all the forward to the back side of the lip of the CH. Remove the rubber in the bottom before you do any cutting! Take some sort of strapping material and wrap it around the CH with the box in the slot . Take two small screws to fasten the strap and them wrap it and secure the other end ,after you have satisfied yourself that it is tight enough. A thin piece of rubber or whatever between the strap and the box will keep it in place. I tookl a small piece of black plastic that matched the dash and shaped it to the opening of the CH and attached it with velcro. Make a opening in the plastic cover to see the led`s and have access to the on-off switch. Hope you can read between the lines and get the jest of my install?:D

If you look at the pic of my dash, you can see I have my remote mounted to the plastic lens just infont/below of the fuel gauge, held in place with velcro. It's nice because it's mounted against a sturdy surface so I can easily push the buttons, and the remote is not just dangling. The box is hidden behind the knee panel.

I have been thinking about the tst box also but was unsure where to put it . also for you guys that have one do they make any smoke ? just wondering :D

SHAKEY, Right now I have my box mounted on the steering column which looks nice, but blocks the speedo and wait to start light. It's pretty good spot I was just looking for other ideas. As for smoke I have the comp box and can't go over level 4 until I put my clutch in,even on level 4 you get a decent puff at low boost ! Working on clutch and injectors so I can really put the soot out.

I have my remote mounted in the same location as MikeR. The box is mounted under the cubbyhole above the center hump and just forward of the shifter boot.
