I just stacked my new TST PMCR with my EZ :) . I was not sure if I had connected the stack in the right order (tst first to the engine) but judging by my seat of the pants experience it must be correct. WOW, I have not done any transmission upgrades so I did not exceed 4/4 on the tst, did notice a difference between 1 and 2 on the EZ.

Everything I have read or been told is that I should not run the EZ above 2 with this stack, any input? and why?

This has been the very best and most informative membership I have ever been affiliated with. THANKS.

JJPage, I'm going to be stacking my tst and ez this week :) Did you plug the ez map sensor into the tst and then the factory plug into the ez? I too have heard to run the ez on level 2 when stacking. What tst level gave you the most off the line kick in the pants as well as throwing alot of smoke? I love smoke and getting the looks from people who are right next to my tailpipe. :) Looking forward to hotrodding this weekend. :-laf

So if I want the smoke, then leave the ez off? How much smoke could you produce with your tst? My buddy can stop traffic with his edge comp on his '02 CTD. Will I be able to do the same thing?

I stacked my EZ with the TST and snapped my turbo shaft in about 2 seconds. EZ was on level 2 and TST was on 6/6. I was running the jammer turbo and it snapped at 45 psi. I believe it went because of how rapid it started to spool. It seemed to go from 20 psi to 45 in a blink. (Im also running DDII injectors).

As far as smoke goes, I would rather get the power without the smoke. All we need is more people ****** off about the smoke and causing more legislation to mess with us. Why stir the pot?

just a TST on mine will black out an intersection with a stock turbo! it is not as bad now with the TAD B1-04, it just greys out the intersection.

CBrabec, yes, I plugged the tst into the map connection on the manifold, then the ez into the tst, then the factory plug into the ez. I believe I will back the allen screw out a bit on the boost elbow as it just pegs my 35psi gauge, that should allow my

wastegate to function again. Will have to play with it so it opens around 35psi.

I have not launched it hard yet and not above tst 4/4 ez 2. Dyno Days at Dishman Dodge are the weekend of the 20th so I am anxious to see some numbers. Don't think I will match tommeyguns but Thanks to his input it helped me make a good choice.

I too have a stacked TST/EZ on my 2005 Dodge 3500 CTD NV5600 QC LB 4x4 SRW, 3. 73's. I'm running a stock turbo for the time being, however I'm setting the TST at 3/3 and the EZ at 2. I want a bigger turbo, but not tomorrow. I'm leaning towards the PS66.

I'm still recovering from the $3K I spent on the Gear Vendors overdrive I had installed in January. Gear Vendors lets me cruise the highways empty in 6/high at 80mph and 2100 rpm. http://www.gearvendors.com/4x4.html

I highly recommend the TST/EZ stacked.

Smoke = power :confused:

Smoke is actually diesel fuel that didn't ingnite and produce any power because of lack of oxygen. IMHO, a smoking diesel is a happy diesel.

You are almost right, smoke is partially burn't diesel. A truck that smokes will makes more power than one that doesn't but is isn't as efficient and won't make as much power as one that can supply the air to completely burn the fuel
