TST makes more power on SO than HO?

I've had my TST box on an SO 5 speed truck and I recently bought a 6 speed with the HO engine. The SO seemed like it made a lot more power than the HO with the TST on it. The HO seems like it just falls on its face harder the more you turn the box up. The SO felt awesome. Whats the problem?

I think the diffrence in stock HP and additional HP might have something to do with it. The SO should be slower from the start but will have more potential HP from the same chip. (The SO might make a few more HP over its baseline than an HO's would with the same mods yet yeild a lower overall HP reading) If your saying that the SO will outrun the HO now with the PMCR id like to see them compared on the dyno. Then agin your comparing 2 diffrent trucks 2 diffrent motors, 2 diffrent trannies and was the SO a dullie as well? How about gearing? ALL TRUCKS ARE DIFFRENT!

I don't know waht a HO will do but my SO dynoed 212 stock and 310 with TST on 5:5. It hit 800 ft/lbs on 6:6 before tripping the egt limiter. I don't think that's much stronger than the HO's.

Well I had the one 5 speed truck which was 2wd with 3. 73 gear. Then I had a 6 speed that was identical to it besides the color. And since then I've had two 4x4 6 speeds with 3. 73 gears. All of the 6 speed HO trucks seemed really low on power compared to the 5 speed SO truck wth the TST installed . I put the TST on all four trucks. The SO was really sick without the tst and the HO's had pretty good stock power. But the tst was awesome on the SO truck so thats when I bough an HO truck, assuming it would make even more power. I was wrong. I know on the 2nd gen 24 valves, the SO engines responded to the chips better than the HO and the HO responded better to injectors. Maybe these are going to be the same way.
