If I get the TST will I need a FASS pump. I have no transmission mods either. I won't be doing any other mods right now besides the TST.

You'll need it eventually when you upgrade the transmission so you can use the higher settings. Just the TST on my truck and the stock transmission didn't last long and i only towed a couple times at about 7000 lbs. I had to turn the TST off to keep from slipping the torque converter. Just buy the FASS once so get the 150 pump if you plan on upgrading more down the road.

In my experience you will need a transmission long before you need a pusher pump. My converter slips so hard (while in lock up) with the TST on 3x3 it makes the turbo bark, and it feels like the transmission slipped into neutral. Thankfully I have a DTT going in next week. Hopefully my stock transmission makes it that long.

You had better open your wallet now!

before it's to late transmission upgrades is only the beginning and i am talking real upgrades.

I went through this w/a 98. 5 finally gave up the thing ran like a scalded DOG but the transmission was my biggest headace. I finally opted for an 06 w the 6 speed I would also put guages in as well.

If you keep the TST at 3/3 or below, your fuel pump and transmission will be fine.

I hope your will power is stronger than mine was!
