I just installed the TST PMCR. I've been reading the posts on the new Edge box. I am a big fan of edge. But it seems to me they've been out done this time. I know there have been reports of the TST making over 200 extra horsepower. Is the Edge going to be capable of these kind of #'s.

The "prototype" ATTITUDE made 125 HP on a Dynojet here in Pasco where I live. It was on the owners stock '04 dually auto. Next week, I'm gonna try it on my '04 and dyno it. It may make more than 125 HP since my truck is nowhere near stock! I'll let you guys know how it does.

big Q - check out some old threads on the tst - one guy dynod an ho - posted settings 1x1 to 7x7 - at 7x7 with clutch slipping bad he had + 179 hp I would bet he was slipping the clutch also on 6x6. so 9X9 200 HP on an ho is more than possible.

In my opinion the new edge module is NOT in the TST level and should not be compared. Sure someone will say if I stack the 2 edges together look what I have ! YOU WILL HAVE AN EQUAL TO ONE TST. And an egt problem.

I have run the code throwing tst and the new module - no codes no problem - same turbo - Toasted clutch!

The diffence is one has good and real extreeme power and one has good and not bad power. 125 HP = not bad.

To each thier own .

;)

I just assumed Edge would have had something in the same power catagory as the TST. If they did, and I had a choice, I would probably go with the Edge as they seem to have more concern with driveability than TST did in the past. But I'm sure both are great producyts for different users. I am just amazed at the power of the TST though. I was ready to sell my 03 and get another 2nd gen until I got it. I tried the EZ and then the Quad box, but wasn't impressed. Now I have the EZ stacked with the TST and the old 5 speed clutch is hating it. It slips on level 4x4. I wish I could find a 6 speed since I have a McLeod twin disc clutch for one.

Had a face to face chat with a fellow from Edge and he told me that they were going to be offering more fuel on a custom sign a waiver basis. There are also more issues than just max hp. How reliable will each box be? Will one be easier on parts than the other on a comparable hp per hp basis? Will the fueling curve on one or the other be better for different folks depending on the parts they plan to run? Seems to me that we need to get a real for sale part on some trucks before any calls can be made on which might be a better choice.
