It seems they are pretty close in price (TST $300 & Diamond B's for $350 at group purchase web site), unless I'm missing something.
Which would be the way to go for a first purchase and why?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, as this is my first "real" bombing run.

BG DUMMY:

You will see by my signature that I
have already "gone through this stage. "

I would recommend you start with a TST
cam plate first. I started with the #6
plate (250 H. P. /635 Torque) along with
a "TransGo Shift Kit" in my automatic
transmission and had NO PROBLEMS at all
until I reached 98,000 miles on the
transmission when the "shuddering" started
under heavy loads. At that point, I
had the transmission rebuilt and up-
graded (new TC, valve body, seals,
clutches etc) and THEN had the 370's
installed along with the governor
and AFC spring kits. All of these
items (including the 370's) REALLY
boost the power and especially the
torque on these trucks and the stock
transmission just CANNOT TAKE IT!

I looked at your "signature" and did
not notice any "modifications" to your
transmission. You will have to "modify"
the transmission eventually or "take it easy"
on the throttle" which for me is hard
to do.

I believe the TST plate and a good shift
kit is a good place to start. I am sure
other members will advise you similarily.
TDR members such as "Koa Man", "A-bomb"
have been through this also.

Take care and good luck.

If you can't afford it, go with the injectors first (easier on the pump), then get plate.
TST's #4 is one bad plate #ad
