Competition TST PM3 Comp upgrade...with problems

I just sent my PM3 out and got the software changed to the competition tune while I was in Jamaica. I hooked it up last night but didn't get to try it till I drove to work this morning. The good news is it fuels great past 3000 RPMs, bad news is it cuts out and shudders real bad under throttle. I've only been able to get up around 2900-3K twice. It even shook so bad once it almost pulled the shift lever out of my hand! Is there anyone else out there with this box and upgrade that has had this problem? Its not just limited to the upper RPMs either, it has done it at partial throttle around 2100 RPMs also. It also has a loud crackling sound I can hear out the exhaust. Is it a software problem, or do I need to upgrade something else now to fix this?

I have a similar problem. it seems to be mostly in moist climates,as on dry days it pulls hard as heck and glass smooth. I'm going to replace the MAP sensor as it is the only logical move for me. I'll post the results when I do it!

I did what I should have did before starting this thread, I disconnected all the connections, cleaned them, greased them and reconnected them. It works flawlessly now, I now know what 3400RPM feels like
