Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Tst Pm3 Comp Version? Worth It?

soon I will be doing a helix II and springs for now I have my single HTB2 I want to know about doing the comp upgrade on my TSTpm3. does the extra HP added only at upper rpms/ any TQ added do people have alot of shudder with this program. tell me what you think. or should I just save the 50 bucks.

I love mine, no shudder on my set up. Fuels harder all the way threw IMO.

does the comp fuel earlier or just higher rpm.

Fuels harder and higher rpm, both start to fuel based on boost.

Mine shuddered so bad on decel. that it was painful!#@$%! anything above 5 was not drivable. I soldered all connections, went through tech they said it was my truck was bad. I got an edge comp, worked fine, NO shudder! Now I have Adrenaline, again NO shudder! Must've been my truck!:-laf
P. S. : Adrenaline fuels harder AND higher AND SMOOTHER than TST ever did!!

I've heard of people having shudder with it, but I've never had any problem with it. Tons of people are having surging problems with the Adrenaline.

I was reading the same thing searching also noticed the people that did not have as bad of surge or no surge at all had aftermarket cams. but also read people that had HO pumps were having surging. dont understand that the comp is not adding timing. if I adjust my timing to high on the smarty I get a shudder. probley just like anything else wont know untill I try it.

DIESELWRKS, Mark at TST told me if I had any problem with it, they would switch it back to PM3 free of charge. So it's only a $50 gamble.

Thats when I did it. Cam, valve springs, and studs.
