tst pm3 or edge comp box????

I'm ready to purchase a box. I've noticed alot of complaints with the edge comp box lately. Seems that everyone that has one has problems with it. Is it really worth it?

I live near Diesel Injection of Pittsburgh and they carry tst products and they also swear by them. Would the power max 3 be a wiser choice? I havent heard any complaints about this box.

I like the fueling sub-menu of the comp.

How is smoke with the pm3?

Either one is a fine choice. Just read about them and see which one has the features you want the most, then go with it. Either vendor you pick you can't go wrong. If I didn't have the Edge stuff... ... then I would have the TST stuff. I've had Edge every since they introduced the orginal PowerEdge in May of 2000. I know several people with TST products as well... ... . so pick which one ya like and go with it.

I have the PM3 Comp. box and the Edge EZ. I hold both in high regards. The smoke issue is really a personal concern, either box will give you smoke at heavy throttle and low boost when set on "kill". How much smoke is too much is up to you, but I don't find my smoke too radical with the step 5 injectors and the EZ, when I turn on the TST the smoke is somewhat thicker but the turbo spools up quicker and the soot shower ends faster. If I were to choose one box again, it would probably be the Edge comp. for a neater install, rather than the two piggybacked but I have no complaints with the TST. If you choose the TST PM3, be sure to get the 9 level remote as there are still some older TST boxes out there without same. This will allow you to choose your power level, as the Edge box and control the smoke.
