I am looking for members comments on the Power Max 2. Good or bad and has anybody had injector pump problems because of it. Not sure but where does the extra power it produces over a VA or EZ come from?
Thanks

I've had a Power Max 2 since around Aug and have had no problems. Power feels great, EGTs never went over 1,100' pulling my 5th wheel. No change in fuel economy with the extra power. Haven't dyno'd it, but it has a very noticable impprovent in horsepower and torque.

Mark Chapple from TST is reaaly good at providing technical info. I recommend the product.

I have the Power-Max 3 with the ajustment gauge. That I can take it from stock settings (0 on gauge) to (9 - max Power setting) 6 on the gauge is the same as power max 2 If you have not bought your power max yet I recomend getting the power max 3 with ajustment gauge. the boxes cost the same as power max2 the add on gauge is $100 more, but it is worth it. I bought mine from Peirs at BD he can answer any other ?. Sorry for going off on a tangent #ad
I have no problems and the power is like night and day WOW what Power. #ad

I just installed a PowerMax3 adjustable yesterday. I will never use any setting above 6, but I felt for $100 the adjustable would give me the flexability to use what ever amount of power I am comfrotable with. The power addition is very smooth and no addition of fuel at normal driving conditions. Pulled my trailer about 20 miles and it is effortless, need to see how the steeper grades are. I am not concerned with damaging the pump due to my driving habits ie: no high rpm, and a lenghy conversation with Mark Chapple regarding pump failure modes he has seen. At the moment I am satisfied with setting 4 which is the std. PowerMax= 60HP and 160 torque added. Very nice product, support and instructions.

I have the PowerMax3 also. I haven't heard of any injector pump issues but I will tell you what I know... the box gives you some pretty serious bang for the buck and Mark at TST has also been very good about support. I really like being able to crank it up to 9 for just racing around (great limited use power) and then being able to dial it down a little for towing.
