I'm considering getting rid of the EZ, and going with the powermax 3. I like the fact that i can go up in small horsepower increments with the powermax, and have a little less timing at the same time. My truck is used for towing a heavy 5er most of the time. So I feel that smaller horsepower increments are a better way to go. If anyone has any opinions, I would definitely appreciate them.

Most of the time on mine i either run it off, 5 or all the way on. can't really feel a difference on each level offered.

i run the edge drag box 5 levels 40. . 60. . 80. . 100. . 120hp 1-4 defuel at 2700rpm for less egt level 5 dont also 5 smoke levels for each power level like 25 levels the way to go I love it!!

LOVE MY POWERMAX 3. Real kick in the pants. I have mine stacked with an old style Van Aiken box which helps with the bottom end. Agreeing with Kevin, you cant really feel a diff in one level change, but its there and a good way to fine tune with your 5er to keep EGT's in check.

Thank you fellas!

I'm sure I will be able to feel the steps, when pulling that 5er in the Rocky Mountains. Who has the best deal on those things?

Wouldn't that advance the timing too much. Also, the problem I'm having with the EZ, is that I can't turn it off. So egts when towing in the mountains, are an issue.

Big A,

One thing that may be of concern, depending on how you feel about your warranty, is the PM3 requires that you punch the pump wire to use it at all. The advantage the Edge Comp has is that you can run the first levels (2 I think) without punching the pump wire. I know guys that run them like this so they don't have to punch the pump wire.

I bought the PM3 because after listening to people that sounded like they knew, it seemed like the PM3 was the better fueling box. I have been happy with mine.
