You can see on my signature I already have the edge ez. I need some opinions on whether I should stack a tst powermax with my ez or should I sell the ez and replace it with the edge comp? I pull a trailer very rarely and if I did I could turn either box down. I think the tst with the ez would give more power but what about my temperatures? Would the option of being able to turn everything off with the comp be convenient? All opinions and suggestions would be appreciated. .

Thanks

Ken

If you're happy with the feel of the ez, than stack with a powermax. I have the comp and love it although I've been told that the tst's have the title on power. I'm getting my DTT in march and will really be able play then. My buddy has an '03 with the ez/tst stack and it is scary fast. He likes it because he can turn off the tst and run just the ez for extra mpg and kick it up to toast the competition. I think you'd be happy with either, but if you have any desire to have more power than needed(is that really possible) than go with the tst stack. PS I can't remember if you have a new turbo or not but that could become an issue for egts.

Well I have the Comp box and like it very much. I have heard that the TST box is good on power but sloppy driving not near as smooth as the Edge comp box. If I was in your shoes i would go with the comp box like have. If you decide to go this route PM me and I can work you up a pretty reasonable price on the box

Or you could wait a month and get the new Juice with Attitude that has the gauges (including fuel pressure!), auto-EGT backdown, etc. :)

i have raced a TST and a Blue Box and beat them both very easy.

The TST was the closest.

I have rode in both trucks and I think the TST is laggy, but when you hit 2,000 rpm shes really takes off.

I personally like the Egde's low end, I upgraded to a drag and will never go back to a reg. Comp.

I have run the comp by itself liked it, have run ez, ez with blue chip box, just the blue chip box, and I'm currently running a blue chip box stacked with a comp with out the pump wire hook up. I really like this combo. Think I'm going to try stacking a smarty programmer with it. But I really would like to try the new juice/attitude. In my opinion if you can just save all your old parts, get the new stuff and just try different combos and see what you like the best. Have to be carefull you stack the right things the right way though to keep it safe, don't want too much timing, too much fuel or different boxxes trying to all do the same thing. Just my two cents.

My vote is for the PM3 with the EZ. Ive had them stacked for about 10k now and love it. It will studder when you lift from WOT to fast but aside from that its quite enjoyable and from my experiance lots of lowend power. On a side note if smoke is an issue i would not suggest it. Just my . 02
