Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) tst powermax3 ?

ok well im looking to buy a used tst powermax3 it was on an 01 i have a 99 my question is will it work? can plugs be changed to make it work?

I would guess that the box itself will work and that there may be some minor differences in how its hooked up. I say this because when you go to TSTs website and order, you have to pick either 98. 5-00, 01 auto, 01 manual, 02 auto, or 02 manual. Maybe ask TST. Heres the website:
