Okay,
I am normally one of the first to pounce on someone if they have a problem and do not call the manufacturer first...
That said, it is 10pm here in LAS and I am wondering if anyone has run across not being able to use either the remote, or electric door locks while the TST is in the cool down mode?
I do have the gray skim key and am wondering if that has anything to do with it... .
If I can't find a resolution to this, here is what I have to do... . Use electric lock to lock all doors while I am inside truck with it running, set TST to cool down, turn ignition off, get out of truck without unlocking it... Then close the door and manually lock it with the key... .
Not too bad really, but a minor inconvienience... .
The good news is that cool down time with the Banks Technicooler installed is less than half the time it used to take with that stock POS intercooler... Not only that, but I used to struggle to get to 400f pre turbo here in LAS on a hot 100 degree day... . Now, the truck gets to 385 right away and 350 within 1 minute.....
Cheers, Bill
