Just had a big weekend, installed the TST R49, AFE stage 2, ATS exhaust manifold and arcflow. TST install was supper easy, a little trouble with the crank and camshaft sensors, but not like everyone said. Put everything together and took her for a drive WOWWWW!!!
The TST is nuts, still have stock auto transmission so I didn't go any higher than 3/3, but it was great. I had the Edge EZ and the TST makes it look like a JOKE!! Tried her on the interstate with box on 0/0, slammed the pedal at 65mph and took a while to hit 90. Set box on 3/3, slammed it again, truck down shifted, boost hit 38psi and made 90mph in seconds, couldn't believe the difference. AFE intake really makes a great whistle. ATS exhaust manifold was a great piece, but the arcflow is a different story, not sure its worth the money. Nice looking, but a lot of money for an upgrade which in reality doesn't do crap. The bolts run through the air passage, you cant tell me that doesn't create more turbulence than its supposed to fix???
Anyway, the pyro for the TST went into the pre-tapped manifold, and the ISSPRO guage pyro is in the down pipe elbow. I considered putting both in the manifold but opted for the pre and post turbo readings.
Any advise from this project would be to the members considering fuel boxes, I couldn't see how you could even think about another company than TST. VERY QUALITY PRODUCT (im sure i'll be thanking them for a DTT transmission!)
