TST remote with fuel pressure gauge in the STR-10 pillar. The remote is held upright with a piece of 1" x 1/8" aluminum bar bent in a 90° and the supplied velcro.
Has anyone put it where the ashtry is? I am wondering if it would fit there, and how many miles should I put on the new engine before adding things like injectors/chips/performance upgrades?
Yes I put mine in the ash tray and it looks and works great there. I just took out the black receptacle box thingy and used the velcro tape supplied by TST. I had to remove the dash bezel around the radio to get the cable routed.
My mileage steadily improoved up to 10k and has not gotten better since. From that I deduct the engine was not "broke in" until about 10k. As for when you should add a box, it's your call.
