Ts performance Said plug theres into the engine sensors first and then the tst on top of that,,I tried this and fired the engine up and even at idle it sounded like it was going to rattle apart. . Ive read that some of you put the tst to the engine sensors first then the ts performance on that?? What is the right way??? I will call tst in the morning and ask. . Is the ramifier the same as the MP-8??

Thanks Dan

I have the Ramifier and the TST. I have used both ways and both work fine but it feels like the engine has more response witht the ramifier first. That maybe because I have the original TST program and no the Twins.

I have the ramifier and tst as well. I have the tst plugged in the map sensor first so that it can fuel accordingly. If the ramifier is plugged in first and it masked the boost number than the tst will never fuel like it should since it feeds off of boost. Not sure if the ramifier and the MP-8 plug-in/work the same or not

I think it will fuel heavier on the bottom end I am not certain if the original program regulates at 21 pounds of boost because that is where the ramifier limits its top reading to the computer.

I asked Mark at TST about this when installing mine. Plug in the TST first, then plug the TS into the output of the TST, then the output of the TS into the factory harness.

All the TST does is fool boost (outgoing) whereas the TS changes boost signals to fuel harder at low boost. I would think the difference would screw up the TST and make it fuel too low and not be very driveable.

the ts boost fools also. On the tst the readings are about twiced as high witht the ts first, until 21 then its stops.

Right, because the TS is modifying the Boost signal to enhance botom end fueling. The TST is also fueld based on boost, and the increased boost signal at the botom end would throw the TST off on its fuel map. Also, has anyone with the TST with gauges noticed that the boost gauge stops at 38lbs? Mine does, but I have a Di Pricol mechanical gauge that has me at 52lbs at full tilt. Is this a problem with the TST or does that MAP sensor stop at 38lbs?

I just noticed that mine stops at 20 psi. It used to work fine, but I've got analog gauges as well, so I really don't keep track of the digital anyway.

the map sensor only reads to 38-40 psi. And with the TST being fooled by the ramifier it will also fuel heavier on the bottom end, simular to the twins program.

With the TST plugged in first and the TS plugged in second the TST will see true boost numbers, not the numbers modified by the TS. That, I believe is why you plug the TST into the MAP sensor, and the TS into the TST. The TST does nothing with boost numbers but to limit it to 21lbs, where the TS has to stop at anyways. I understood that monitering boost on the TST was only for activation of fueling and to control overboost codes. Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for the help,I found out that I got a bad diode in my ts box when I pluged it to the engine either way it made the engine rattle like crazy and when adjusting the ramifier up the engine would die. .

Im getting a new box and hopefully all will be good.

Thanks Dan

i run the ts on the engine, then the tst, truck runs good and smooth, but sometimes the truck wont start unless i remove the ramifier  maybe i have a bad diode also, and i only run the stack when racing, etc, cant be more than 100 miles on the ramifier, kind of having kid #2 and dont have a lot of money to be throwing parts right now, but here comes winter and unlimited overtime, good luck :--)
