Right from TST's website:

Detailed Description Now available for the 2003-2005 POWERMAXCR line up is a new remote with more options. With helpful new features allowing the user to set the maximum power output (up to an additional 195 additional HP), maximum torque output (up to an additional 600Ft Lb Tq), the maximum exhaust gas temperature, the maximum turbo boost pressure, the cool down exhaust gas temperature, and the cool down idle time.

Sooo... . $50 more than the other one - And you get cool down timer, etc, etc. This is a hardware upgrade and a software change too. Mainly a different harness for the hardware.

All your friendly TST dealers should be able to get them as they are available as of today (or yesterday, I dont know when the official release was)

From MArk @ TST:

$100 if you currently have the PMCR with gauges

$350 if you currently have the PMCR WITHOUT gauges (but he working on this number)

Okay - so what's the deal with the cool-down timer? Is it compatible with the Sentry Key, or do you have to essentially defeat the SKIM to use it?

For an upgrade, do we just send our main unit in to have it re-programmed, or do we need to send back the harness(es) and/or remote as well?

Any pictures of the new remote?

I like the sound of that! But I don't be needing no stinking boost limiter :D Hope I can turn that off.

I sent mine back earlier this week to get the cooldown upgrade... and the Twins Program :D Apparently they need to reporgram both the module and the remote and you need a new timing harness. That is all included in the $100

You can I think... You have togo all the way from 35 (i think pre-set) down to 2 then 1 then off - Like the EGT limiter - It has an off setting too

As far as the look of the remote, I bet the same or only a slight change

Im wondering what is the max boost you can set it to and does it eliminate the need to have the manual boost line running from the intake to the wastegate on the 2005 model ram truck.

My truck ran great with out the manual boost line installed but it would hit 48 psi of boost with the stock turbo. I called TST to find out why my boost was so high - I missed the step installing the boost line which disables the electronic waste gate control.

Now it will limit it to 35 psi but i have a surge. It was more fun with the electronic wastegate intact I hope this upgrade will let me go back to using the electronic waste gate-- sounds like it will .

I guess you could, but the idea it to keep boost limited by reducing fuel... Where as limiting boost with wastegate still let the fuel fly causing high EGTS
