Never thought of this one...

R.V. lights to LED,s

I wonder if anyone has solved this problem. I fill my TT water tank on the flat. But, if I park it with the fill side on an even downhill slope, I lose water out of the filler. Im sure I losing it as I go down down the road on hills as well.

There must be some way to gasket the plastic plug that goes over the filler port. Has anyone done this with any success before ? If so, what did you use for a gasket ?

And, while Im talking about my TT, I have another question. This is really a moot point because it has been going on for years now. But, my onboard battery charger/AC-DC converter makes a loud hum when plugged in to shore power. Has anyone experienced this and corrected the problem ?(outside of just replacing the converter)

Thanks,

As for the water tank, there is a vent near the filler and water can come out there even if the filler cap seals. You might be able to raise the level of the vent though??? The newer solid state converters are silent operating. Mine is an Iota. bg

Thanks BG,

But, on mine, I can watch the water come out of the filler when its parked with the filler on the down hill side. I dont see a vent anywhere. But, my TT is a 1988, so it's not what you might call state of the art.
