Yesterday I purchased a BD-PNP the shop said they had to install it... so I let them. Performance was awsome...

Today I noticed a performance drop and looked at the installation and noticed the elbow that gets replaced as part of the kit wasn't there instead there is a copper plug and the hose to the waste gate actuator is just hanging there.

From what I understand this will allow the turbo to over-rev and damage it.

Should I be concerned about this or is this a normal mod?

I will be towing a 9000lb trailer tomorrow so I need to know what I should do ASAP.

Thanks for all your help in advance!

Waste gate

I am not the hop up guru but the hose, when connected will open the waste gate at a predetermined pressure therby controlling maximum boost pressure. The hose being off will not overspeed the turbo, it should result in you having higher boost pressure at high load/high rpms. bg
