INteresting discussion on Cummins Power and economy

Dead Ford

Any one know what the deal is with the video of the cummins ,dmax and pstroke video? It shows the dmax winning how is this? whats the deal with it?

Weight and hook point wins tug-o-wars. If we're talking tractors add tire height to that list. Where's this video?

Of course the GM won. Look who made the video. Did you notice the Dodge was not even running, and started up at the end? It may have been running at first, but stalled out or was turned off.

My first guess would be that the Phurd and the Dodge were not in 4 wheel drive and the chevy was. I can tell you for a fact that a reg. cab chevy weighs no where near what an ext. cab truck from ford and dodge will. Weight will always win when all other things are similar

I have this video on my computer, and it's rigged as can be.

Look how low the Chevy sits in teh back, I bet it's got a 8'x4'x2" steel plate in the bed, and is in 4wd. Supposedly what I heard was the Dodge broke an input shaft on the Auto transmission.

Anyway, if you've got traction, the ultra low 1st gear in the Allision will outpull any of the other Auto's out there to 15MPH.
