Just got back from Tulare. Met a bunch of good people and saw some AWESOME machines. Even got Joe Donnelly to sweat on my engine to give it more power! Bought some performance parts that will be going in soon. I will be officially bombed when they are all in. Thanks to Piers and Donnelly for all of the help that they gave me at the show. It was great when the announcer said "There are reports that vendors that racing in the parking lot. The vendors must stop racing in the parking lot". Oh well, it was a lot of fun.
Soon to be installed: 370HP Diamond B injectors, governor kit, 60 pound valve springs.

Venders racing in the parking lot??? HUH!? That was no parking lot that was a diesel race track #ad
Parking lots are paved for heavens sake!!!

I couldn't agree more HVAC that's what us old sprint car guys say. Dirt is for racing and pavement is for parking. What a great time we had!!!! #ad

Some of those pherd boys need to learn when and when not to throw rocks!!!! HVAC, how much damage was done?

Hey Adam, how did everything go on Sunday, did you run again? I unfortunately had to take off on Sat. night. How is that clutch holding up? Sure was good talking to you and the rest of the guys, I have some great footage of your pulls Adam, we need to get this up on the web for all to see - I love smoke shows.

RHARVEY, the damage was minimal although anyone doing what he was doing needs to be reined in #ad
Goes to show you don't to meet any minimum iNteLligEnce requirements to drive a pickup! We filed a complaint and while we chose not to charge the clever fellow with civil fouls we do have a case number for the insurance company to track. If he wants wheel spin I can play that game too. It would have been satisfying to have roosted him back to see how he liked a dose of his own medicine.

I am as guilty as anyone of taking the opportunity to play a little. Like when Scourge and I drove in on Saturday AM #ad

it was a lot of fun hangin out with everyone for the weekend. Lots of comrodory from the dodge corner. Ford guys seemed to stay to there selves. Oh well.
As it turns out on sunday it was more a matter of who stacked a bunch of wieght in their truck, of witch already wieghs alot more being a 4 door with a few boxes in the back, not to metion the blocks between the frame and rear end. So my first pull was short. The second pull I tried to take a mechanical advantage using a high hitch that couldn't take it to the end and gave up. Oh well, I think next year we'll make some rules. Hopefully that way it will have to do with power not wieght.
I'll let you know after weds what power will do in the 1/4 mile. LOL
I'm looking forward to seeing some photos and video's.

He finally gave up trying to beat me after he blew up his U. S. gear trans, that was a bummer, had to get a Powerstroke to pull him in. HVAC maybe next time we meet you'll have your "censored" hooked up to go with the propane, then I might have to turn up my pump some more to stay in front #ad
That was the first time I ever pulled a sled, could'nt believe it when the sled driver told me that thing weighed 42,000lbs was sure smiling when I went 287 though #ad
Next time I have to make sure and install my front drive shaft so I can pull in 4x4 mode. Thanks for dinner Bryan, I hope things work out okay getting your Powerstroke fixed, let me know if you guys are able to fly up for this weekend, dinners on me then. HVAC I'll be working on that new turbo asap & I'll let you know how it works out.
