TunER? mods? Programers?WTF

I'm clueless about this stuff- I know I need a monitor[mm3,bullydog) and a programmer, but is this something I can take up my self? do I need to pay some bum to program EFI live? not doing any engine mods till warranty is up, but something that can grow with my truck.

leave it alone till your warranty is up. no need for extra gauges till it's modified. you can get a Raceme Ultra and it has it's own gauges, tuning and it'll also load custom WARP tunes. yes you can do it if you can read and fallow it's on screen directions.
EFI live does not have gauges, and you have to buy the bully dog to unlock the computer, where the raceme does it on it's own.
you can get the Raceme ultra and it has gauges, and not program the truck, just it as gauges if you so desire, and when ready you can tune your truck.
