I am one of the people testing the Turbo Air Guide prototype developed by Dave Meheen at Diesel Power Products www.dieselpowerproducts.com I have had a chance to make some of the same runs loaded and empty that I commonly made before the TAG was installed... here are some results: When I'm empty, about the only difference I notice is that I can hear the turbo better (nice)... but when I'm loaded I really notice a difference. It seems like I have a smoother pull all the time and I know I am holding a higher gear longer without downshifting than before the TAG was installed. While I haven't noticed a mileage difference empty, I got better mileage during my last trip with a camper and loaded horse trailer than I did on the trip prior to the TAG install with just the camper. I think Dave is really on to something here... wondering when a manufacturer will take notice? I will keep any new information posted
