My previous thread of excessive EGT's is now a broken link for some reason... maybe the moderator is trying to tell me something
Cerb's theory is that my turbo I had ED size for me based on my current set-up and daily use of the truck, is too big for the injectors and am not getting enough air flow.
2700 RPM / 2nd gear / 40 MPH / 36# boost / no smoke (No CaTcher loaded. . stock tune with options adjusted TM3/TQM2/RP2) / EGT's 1400 - 1450*
This is pulling a 13K# 5er on grades between 6500 - 9000 ft elevation.
I started at SW3 then went to SW1 and now at stock with no noticable change in temps... . ??? Seems to me excessive smoke = excessive fueling = heat... This isnt the case right now... #@$%!
