Turbo boost adapter

Has anyone used the turbo boost adapter for the 24v diesel to connect their boost gauge? This is listed on Piers website at

www.piersdiesel.com. It replaces one of the intake manifold bolts and has a 1/8" pipe thread fitting.



This seems like a simple way to hook up your boost gauge without any drilling or tapping. It is currently on sale for $13.

I heard someone mention at the last NWBOMBers get together, local shops are using these exclusively to install boost gauges on all trucks 12v and 24v.

I have it, I don't use it on my truck but I got it to use on another members truck. Its a really "neat" idea, one of those "why didn't I think of that" type things. Its sitting here on my desk, the gauges for the other truck just got here. I'd say its worth $13. 00 in my opinion.

I have installed many dozens of these little fittings, they make doing any boost hookus a breeze! Good for temporary use too, like when going out on a test drive with a gaugeless truck.
