Ok - Got my turbo boost gauge hooked up to the right port in the intake manifold... with a little help from my friends - thanks (see previous post). It's actually working. Doesn't show any boost at idle (probably not sensitive enough), but I think I can see the wastegate chop the boost profile at 20 psi. So, what else could I be looking for with a stock setup? Does anyone know what the boost profile should look like? What Pressure at what RPM? Starting where? Is it linear?

Again, thanks for the help. It means a lot.

Jack, you wont have any boost at idle. Engine will need a load and fuel to make boost. Being stock your boost should max at about 20PSI.

Many folks are under the misconception that more boost is better. It is to a point when you need power but for normal driving the higher the boost the worse your mileage. If mpgs concern you use the boost gauge to control your foot and gears to keep it low. Cruising at 75 on flat land my boost runs about 3 psi. You may not ever see the max boost your rig is capable of until you hit a steep hill in high gear with a load.
