Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) turbo boost

I just installed my boost guage (0-35psi) and running down the level highway @ 65mph, I read approximately 3-4psi on the guage. Does this sound about right? I guess I was expecting something higher.

Thats about what i get running empty and level. Stock with a load i'd max out around 18-22 WOT. I just ordered an AutoMeter 0-60 gauge from Genos as i keep maxing out my 0-30...

Thanks for the replies, it's good to know things are where they should be. Do I need a 60psi guage though? If you're burying the 30lb. , then my 35 won't be far behind.
