turbo end play ? what are the spec's ?

i have a 04. 5 325/600 , with 20,000 miles on it, i took off the air tube and wanted to see if turbo had any play , its got a little when you grab ahold of the wheel/stud/nut , is it not suppose to move at all or is it suppose to have some play in it ? please let me know > thanks Oo.

Not sure of the exact spec. but in general very little end play, but some side play is allowed as long as the compressor wheel vanes don't contact the housing and their is no evidence of contact.

no evidence of contact what so ever , has very little end play , just making sure that was normal , i didn t know if it needed not to have any end play at all. are you running just the tst box alone ? let me know if you are , i have some questions if you are

The stock turbo has a little side play. You should see how much a S300 has.

Yeah I had to call HTT to check when I found my HTB2 had 1/16 inch of play.

Yes I run a TST alone, mostly for towing.

Run on torque #1 and #2 to keep temperatures and smoke down
