I decided to take the silencer ring out today and found one fin bent slightly with white paint on it. Other pictures I have seen never showed this. Has anyone else seen this, or should I even be concerned. I have a 2002 HO 6 speed 4x4.

Also I ordered a Magflow 4" exhaust and had to send it back because the downpipe was not compatable with there system.

Not only none of the hangers would match up I got a big story from the Tec support person and a return merchindise from hell story.

I don't think you have a bent fin... ..... your turbo would have grenaded with the inbalance. The paint is just a marker.

The white paint is used when balancing the turbo. Are you sure it's bent? Like Bob, I think that if it was bent you would have lost the turbo. At the very least it would have been making a harmonic vibration. I had that happen on a car once...

Im telling you that as a fact this fin is not like the others. My digital camera is not working right, or maybe me, or I would try to post a pic. One fin does not look like the rest. I have a tourqe enhanser from Halsey Machine and have no proplems with the turbo working. Wondering if this was done to balance this or was a Monday mourning when it was built. My second post related to the down pipe that would not match this Magflow system and made me start wondering about this. I bought this Truck new and it is my first diesel. Still does not seem right. I have not herd a harmonic vibration. I get up to 20 lbs boost and some and it still wants to go. need the clutch thing but getting started with bombs. any advice is apreciated.
