Yesterday I was going to try and put my silencer ring back in to see what it sounded like with my new aFe air box, and I noticed the shaft or what ever you call it feel's like it's starting to get a little play in it! :confused: Does this mean it's going south and what do I do? It look's like the fin's are rubbing lightly on the bottom part also! I can't afford a turbo now since I just spent $1k on other mod's! Can this be repaired easy! I hope you guy's have some positive solution's! Thank's :confused: :)

It moves up and down just enough to feel it, but it has been pretty hot and the housing is a nice golden color! :( Once my injector's go in it's probably gonna melt! :{

If the shaft moves in and out some, it's OK. If you see wear spots on the housing, caused by the impeller, it's running out of round, and it's turbo time.

:rolleyes:

I'm guessing the evidence of rubbing you're seeing is actually corrosion... if it'll barely move up and down and won't move in and out, I'm sure your turbo is in perfectly good health... throw the fuel to it and have some fun! :D
