Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Turbo help

Thinking that it is time for a turbo upgrade in the near future. Trying to decide on which on to go with. I have dd3's (115 hp), smarty, and an APB box that I will put on eventually. (waiting on the turbo).



I don't tow much but I don't want to lbe limited by all the fuel. I don't mind sacrificing a little spool up for top end go. I'd like to hit 100+ with out melting my motor also.



The ones I was looking at were the pdr hx-40/16, dodgezilla 40, and the bd super b single. All opinions are welcome. I also want to stay around 1300. 00 all said and done so I think that a phat shaft is out. thanks in advance.

Your pushing about the same that I am currently with the 110hp sticks I have in, I have been asking around and I dont know that the bd single will be enough, I am trying however to find more information on the single special. SUPPOSED to handle up to 525 hp but nobody seems to have it yet.



An HTT Htb2 62/12 might work

Before I realize High tech couldnt give me the results I got out of my Industrial Injection Silver Bullet and F1 mach 6 220hp injectors, High Tech reccomended to me the 64/12 or 64/14 with 110 injectors just depends how much low end you want to decide the 62 or 64

so how does the htb2 compare to the ones that I was looking at?

HTB2 62 is the same as a phat shaft 62. The phat shaft 64 has some work on the exhaust side. Both are based off of s300 chargers

What is your opinion of the pdr 40? The price compared to the b2 is very appealing. is it not that good of a turbo?

Some people have had good success with the 40. I think the 40 is slightly laggier and not as robust. 40 is probably good for 425-450 HP. I just think it is hard to beat a s300 hybrid for reliability.
