Archived turbo help!

hey everyone. i just finished putting a new wsb turbo on my 2007 dodge 5. 9 2500. my problem is that my truck came with an electronic wastegate and the turbo that i put on has no wastegate. the electronic wastegate wire tells the computer how much boost the truck is making, and adds fuel. with it unplugged, the computer back off fuel. all the dash lights are on and the code is P 0243- Wastegate pressure control pwn. I need to get the truck goin tonite. anyone know what to do with the electronic wastegate wire?

Only thing I can think of is put a pointemeter on it but my thinking mite be way off. There mite be an easier solution.

The wastegate solenoid impedance is 10 ohms . Try a 10 ohm resistor across the plug you may want to get a higher wattage resistor since it is a solenoid

thanks guys i took the electronic wastegate out of the old turbo and jus ziptied it onto the fender. seems to be working...

by the way, the wastegate doesn't tell the computer how much boost there is, thats the map sensors job, all the wastegate actuator does is open the wastegate to bleed off boost.

Yep, just pull it out and zip tie it up out of the way - but IT HAS TO STAY PLUGGED IN.
