I'm in the market for a new turbo now, and to be honest I'm kinds list on what to go with. There are just so many out there nowadays its easy to get confused about what I should spend my money on. I want a solid 550-600 h. p. truck, and I do sled pull with it but its also my daily driver and what I tow my cattle trailer and my mud truck with so towing occasionally is also a concern. This is why I have no idea what to go with, I need something to handle every aspect of the diesel truck world lol. I run 200 hp injectors and plan on stackin a smarty for sled season so i have to keep that in mind too. But I only pull bout 3 times a year just for fun so if I had to sacrifice on anything, it would be my sled and trailer pulling performance. I mostly need something to match my 100 hp injectors, edge, and methanol to be a good daily driver without my egt's goin thru the roof. I really don't want anything more laggy than the stock turbo tho if its possible. Is there anything out there that could satisfy me for what I need besides twins? A turbo that is upgradable to twins that would be better than my stock turbo would be a nice option too, because next year I'll have my pullin truck back together n this will be my street n tow truck again. I've looked at the super b and like how its upgradable to twins and affordable but idk if its an outdated turbo by now or not? And I can't find any specs on them? Lol I'm so lost I'm just rambling now, anybody have any helpful info for me?

Jeez, dude. Do you want anything else? A million dollars in small bills? A date with Jennifer Anniston? The Nobel Prize?:D:-laf

The turbo you desire does not exist, however you could get close with a set of twins, as you stated. Your'e looking for a 'Twins Starter Kit'.

How about the S-300 based hybrid with a 64/14 set up?

Tough as nails, can be the secondary in a sizable twin set up, and can be purchased with dual wastegates. I was going to say A5K until I read the remainder of your fantasy, er. . I mean post.

Yes I know I'm asking for a lot, but I know I'll never get the best of everything without going to twins. I just wanted to know what my options are on a turbo that is easily upgradable to a twin setup, that will keep me somewhat satisfied until I get the second turbo. What are the specs on a schweitzer 300? I saw specs on the super b and fear it might be too small for my needs.

I like my High Tech Turbo Super Stock stainless steel 62\13. Spools well and flows a lot of air. It also has a much more aggressive howl than my last stock S300. I'm past due to test out my new Spearco and CFM on the dyno but I should be over the 500 RWHP mark and over the 1150 torque mark.
