Competition All this time i thought EDM's were better...

Competition Is your VCR/TiVO/DVR set?

Is An hx 40 an hx 40 or are there different versions of the same turbo? The same for the ht3b Are there different versions of that model turbo? I would like to build my own set of twins but I am not sure If I have the correct version O the turbo's I want. I know there are different makers of the same model but are they really different. I found three Ht3b's on ebay rebuilt for pretty cheap and wonder if they would be suitable. thanks for the help

There are different mods to each.

First you need to figure out where you want to be power wise, then add fuel and air to get there.

Do a lot of reading by the search feature to learn what works and what doesn't.

a little basic turbine stuff (your results may vary) :D

HX40

inducer76. 5mm Exducer 64mm Trim 70

HT3B

Inducer 97mm Exducer 87mm Trim 80

You should look into the borg-warner/schwitzer series of turbos for your twin turbo needs.

I think you would be alot more pleased.

There are a ton of different hx40's out there, I'm sure the same can be said about a ht3b.

True, but those differences lie on the compressor side.

All the HT3B and HX40 turbos I have gotten my hands on, have the same turbine dimensions.

I'm not a fan of the HT3B, but it is cheap and reliable.

If that's the case DF, what would you run for a bottom turbo that would surpass the HT3b
